17.02.2015, 16:00 – 17:30

photo PRB Chairman (2011)The management of interdependencies in any transport sector is a critical success factor for achieving high performance. The understanding of key relationships between influences is necessary to ensure that effects and risks are controlled in order to ensure resilience in air traffic systems, where the main output is safety.

To discuss this, we will examine the relationships of the different mechanisms that exist in ATM. The discussion will focus on the relationships set up from quantitative and qualitative aspects and will discuss the relationships built as a result, with a view to seeking solutions to improve the system. This will be explained using social and risk management theories.
