Since 2009 the yearly series brings aviation experts from industry and academia to Braunschweig. Their presentations on current ATM issues form the basis for discussions with expert visitors and the general public. The aim is to promote the scientific dialogue between the various stakeholders and to provide an insight into the work of all involved parties.

The colloquium is jointly organized by the Institute of Flight Guidance (FL) of DLR (German Aerospace Center) and the Institute of Flight Guidance (IFF) of the Technische Universität Braunschweig. The scientific management and supervision of the series is directed by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dirk Kügler (DLR) and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Peter Hecker (TU Braunschweig).
